This Kia Habaniro Car Uses Artificial Intelligence To Know When You Are Sad

Korean car manufacturer Kia exhibits its Habaniro concept at the 2019 New York Auto Show, revealing its future vision for driverless electric cars. The Habaniro is a compact crossover utility vehicle that Kia calls an ‘everything car‘ – its suitable for urban transport, coastal road trips, wilderness adventures, and apparently, understanding your emotions. Introduced earlier this year, the Habaniro uses Kia‘s new real-time emotion adaptive driving (R.E.A.D) system. The system was developed with researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of technology and uses artificial intelligence to monitor a passenger’s emotional state. The technology then optimizes and personalizes the cabin experience accordingly. For example, the vehicle detects stress levels via bio-signal recognition technology that reads facial expressions and monitors heart rate and electrodermal activity. Governor of Ondo State,Rotimi Akeredolu,has ordered the withdrawal of all the branded vehicles he donated for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari and the party's candidates during the 2019 general election. The memo, which was signed by Isiaka Yusuf, the Senior Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, and sent to both the elected lawmakers and the 18 LGA chairmen,read: “I have been directed by Mr. Governor to withdraw the branded Sienna in your possession," “You are required to submit the vehicle to the office of the SSA (Political Matters) on or before Friday 12th April 2019. Please, kindly comply. SSA (Political Matters)." Nigerian Shot Twice In The Head By Fellow Nigerian In South Africa For 'Not Knowing Where Weed Is Sold The Nigerian Citizens Association in South Africa (NICASA) says Tony Elochukwu, a Nigerian from Nnobi, Anambra State, has been killed by an unidentified gunman in South Africa. Prince Ben Okoli, the President of NICASA, said this in a letter to the Consular-General, Nigerian Consulate in Johanesburg. Three Nigerians had been killed between April 6 and April 9 at different locations in the country.
